The SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) course is a two-day instructor-led training program that prepares participants to successfully lead an Agile Release Train (ART) and drive continuous improvement. It helps leaders in an organization to develop the skills required to manage large, complex agile teams using the SAFe® framework.
There are no mandatory prerequisites to attend the SAFe RTE training course. Participants should have experience in Agile environments and be familiar with Scrum or SAFe practices.
The SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) course is 3 days (24 hrs) of live instructor-led training.
The exam fee is included in the course fee. If you need to retake the exam, the retake fee is $50.
The SAFe® RTE certification is valid for 1 year. To renew your certification, you need to earn 10 PDUs (Professional Development Units) in a year. The renewal fee is $295 for one year which includes a $100 renewal fee and a $195 membership fee for the SAFe community platform.
